Flag Poles

Granholm today ordered that United States flags throughout the state of Michigan and on Michigan waters be lowered for one day on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, in honor of Army 1st Sergeant Aaron D. The most famous pole is that which was placed on the moon in 1969. There was nothing unique about the pole it’s self, only the symbolic representation of it being placed on the moon while the whole world watched it unfold.
